The Basics

What is post construction cleaning?

Post construction cleaning is the final pass that turns a finished job site into a space someone can actually live or work in. It is not the same as a regular deep clean, and the reason is the dust.

Drywall and sanding dust is fine enough to settle into every horizontal surface in the building, then get kicked back into the air hours later — which is why a space that looks clean on Friday is covered again on Monday. It takes staged cleaning, the right filtration, and detailing of the places dust hides: vent covers, the tops of door frames, window tracks, inside cabinets and light fixtures.

The Stages

The three stages of a post construction clean

Most projects need more than one pass, and knowing which one you are booking changes the scope and the price.

Rough Clean

Between phases, once the heavy debris is out but before finishes go in. Keeps the site workable for the trades.

Final Clean

After all work is done. The detailed one: every surface, inside every cabinet, all glass, all fixtures.

Touch-Up Clean

The short pass right before handover or move-in, catching the dust that resettled while the space sat empty.

Tell us which stage your project is at and we scope it accordingly. For contractors running several projects, we can quote them together on one schedule.

Scope

Cleaning and debris hauling are different jobs

One thing worth setting straight up front. We remove leftover materials, packaging, stickers, protective film and the fine debris left in the space. Heavy construction waste — torn-out cabinetry, drywall sheets, flooring offcuts — normally leaves in a dumpster before we arrive.

If your project still has haul-away pending, tell us and we schedule around it, so you are not paying us to clean a space that is about to get dirty again. Once the space is done, many clients move straight onto a recurring or deep cleaning plan to keep it that way.

For Contractors

Certificate of insurance, site access and the punch list

If you are the general contractor, the final clean is the last thing between you and the closeout, and it usually lands on the worst week of the project. We send a certificate of insurance the same day you ask, naming the general contractor or the property owner the way your contract requires — most buildings will not let a crew through the door without one.

We schedule around the punch list rather than around our calendar: the rough clean once the trades are done making dust, the final clean before the walkthrough, and a touch-up after the last fixes. Tell us the badge, sign-in or freight elevator rules at the walkthrough and they go on the work order.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does post construction cleaning in Philadelphia cost?
It depends on the size of the space and how much dust and debris the project left behind. Send us the project details and stage, and we give you a clear quote up front.
When should I schedule post construction cleaning?
After the work and any debris haul-away are done, so we can do the final detail. If your project has stages, we can also do a rough clean between phases — just ask.
Do you handle the fine construction dust?
Yes. Fine dust is the whole point of a post-construction clean. We detail surfaces, ledges, and corners where it settles, not just the obvious areas.
Do you work with contractors as well as homeowners?
Both. We coordinate with homeowners finishing a renovation and with contractors who want to hand over a clean, move-in-ready space.
How do I book?
Call or text (267) 702-8003 or request a free quote online, and share the project details so we can scope it.
